सांसद रवि किशन ने इस पावन समय में अपने स्वर्गीय पिता जी को याद करके भावुक हो गए उन्होंने कहा कि अगर आज मेरे पिताजी जिंदा होते तो उनको आज का दिन उनके लिए सबसे बड़ा दिन होता लेकिन आज वह नहीं है फिर भी जहां भी होंगे उनको संतुष्टि पहुंच गई होगी सदर सांसद रवि किशन ने कहा कि गोरखनाथ मंदिर का अयोध्या में श्री राम जन्मभूमि से बहुत पुराना नाता रहा है गोरखनाथ मंदिर के महंत दिग्विजय नाथ जी महाराज उसके बाद महंत अवैद्यनाथ जी महाराज और आज उत्तर प्रदेश के पूज्य मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी ने इस मंदिर निर्माण में अहम भूमिका निभाई है जिसके लिए उन्हें जितना साधुवाद दिया जाए कम है सांसद रवि किशन ने कहा कि आज हमारे लिए दीपावली का समय है उन्होंने गोरखपुर वासियों से भी अनुरोध किया है कि अपने घर पर दीया जलाएं क्योंकि यह पावन समय का इंतजार 500 वर्षों से था और आज 500 वर्षों के बाद हमें यह पावन समय देखने को मिल रहा है यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा भूमि पूजन उसके बाद शिलान्यास एक अविस्मरणीय समय की याद दिलाता है और दिलाता रहेगा सांसद रवि किशन राम को याद करके पूरी तरह से भाव विभोर हो गए उन्होंने कहा राम कण कण में है परंतु आज राम मंदिर का निर्माण कहीं ना कहीं हिंदुत्व और हिंदुत्व की अस्मिता को बचा रहा है ।
राम मंदिर निर्माण के उपलक्ष में गोरखपुर के सदर सांसद रवि किशन अपने आवास पर सुंदरकांड का पाठ रखा साथ ही साथ उन्होंने खुद पाठ व भजन कीर्तन किया सांसद रवि किशन ने कहा यह मंदिर का आरंभ नहीं एक नए युग का प्रारंभ है उनके साथ भारतीय जनता पार्टी के तमाम कार्यकर्ता भी मौजूद रहे मुख्य रूप से क्षेत्रीय मंत्री प्रदीप शुक्ला सांसद प्रतिनिधि समरेंद्र विक्रम सिंह पवन दुबे निजी सहायक शिवम द्विवेदी ,शिवम चंद नीतीश बलिया, श्याम दुबे, अभिलाष शाही, सोनू द्विवेदी, रणविजय सिंह जुगनू, अशोक सिंह सहित भाजपा व हिंदू युवा वाहिनी के कार्यकर्ता व पदाधिकारी गण मौजूद रहे!
