डाक टाइम्स न्यूज समाचार ब्यूरो कुशीनगर । जिलाधिकारी एस0 राजलिंगम के द्वारा मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान के तहत विकासखंड हाटा, मोतीचक,व सुकरौली तथा दुदही विकास खंड में मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान कार्यक्रम में हिस्सा लिया गया। इस क्रम में मत प्रतिशतता व मताधिकार प्रयोग हेतु संत पुष्पा इंटर कॉलेज में दीप प्रज्वलन, देवी वंदना तथा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। उक्त कार्यक्रम में जिलाधिकारी महोदय द्वारा मतदान की प्रतिशतता बढ़ाए जाने हेतु अपील की गई। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकतंत्र की मजबूती हेतु मताधिकार का प्रयोग आवश्यक है। उपस्थित ग्राम प्रधान एवं कोटेदार से अपील करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि आप की भूमिका मतदान के प्रतिशतता बढ़ाने में काफी महत्वपूर्ण है। मतदाताओं को मताधिकार के प्रति जागरूक व प्रोत्साहित किया जाए। विकासखंड दुदही में मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम अभियान को संबोधित करते हुए जिलाधिकारी महोदय ने कहा कि जनपद कुशीनगर में अब तक मत प्रतिशत सिर्फ 58 से 59% तक ही रहता है। मताधिकार के प्रयोग द्वारा उस प्रतिशतता को बढ़ाए जाने की जरूरत है। और उन्होनें कहा कि मजबूत लोकतंत्र के लिए सही प्रतिनिधित्व जरूरी है और सही प्रतिनिधित्व के लिए अधिक से अधिक मताधिकार का प्रयोग जरूरी है अतः मताधिकार के प्रयोग हेतु लोगो को जागरूक करें । इस अवसर पर संत पुष्प इंटर कॉलेज ढाढा में खंड विकास अधिकारी सुशील सिंह, खंड विकास अधिकारी सुकरौली उषा पाल अधिशासी अभियंता हाटा व अन्य संबंधित अधिकारीगणो की उपस्थिति रही।
