गोरखपुर। शाहपुर थाना क्षेत्र के बशारतपुर में दोपहर में बाइक सवार बदमाशों ने प्रधानाध्यापिका और उसकी बेटी को गोली मार दी। गंभीर रूप से घायल मां-बेटी को परिवार के लोग मेडिकल कॉलेज ले गए जहां डॉक्टर ने मां को मृत घोषित कर दिया। वहीं बेटी की हालत नाजुक बनी है। शहर में नाकाबंदी कर पुलिस बाइक सवार बदमाशों की तलाश कर रही है।

बशारतपुर की रहने वाली 40 वर्षीय निवेदिता मेजर उर्फ डेविना पत्नी मनीष मेजर रविवार की दोपहर में 16 वर्षीय बेटी डेलसिया के साथ स्कूटी से अपने मायके सेंट जॉन चर्च बशारतपुर से अपनी ससुराल रामजानकी नगर पूर्वी में स्थिति मिलन लॉन जा रही थी।घर से कुछ दूर आगे बढ़ने पर राजीव नगर में आशियाना मोड़ पर बाइक सवार दो बदमाशों ने उन्हें घेरकर फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। गोली लगने से मां-बेटी सड़क पर गिर पड़ीं। चीख-पुकार सुन आसपास के लोग दौड़े तो बदमाश हवाई फायरिंग करते हुए भाग निकले।
