महराजगंज आज दिनांक 29-07-2022 को वन मंत्री अरुण कुमार सक्सेना व मुख्य वन संरक्षक पूर्वी वृत्त गोंडा भीमशेन ने वन्य जीव अभयारण्य सोहगीबरवा में स्थित राम ग्राम स्तुप का दर्शन कर फूल माला चढ़ा पूजा अर्चना किया व वन्य जीव प्रभाग के जंगल नव घोषित जंगल सफारी के प्रगति का हाल जाना वन मंत्री ने सर्वप्रथम कुशमहवा गेस्ट हाउस पर पहुंचे तत्पश्चात जंगल सफारी की सवारी करते हुए जंगल में स्थित राम ग्राम स्तूप पर पूजा अर्चना करने की तत्पश्चात विशेषताएं जाने मीडिया कर्मियों से प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान मीडिया कर्मियों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए मंत्री ने बताया कि जंगल सफारी की और अच्छे से संचालन का कार्य बरसात के बाद कराया जाएगा व अवैध कटान की स्थिति पर वन मंत्री ने कहा कि पेट्रोलिंग करने हेतु वाहनों को उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा उसपर वनकर्मियों को तैनात कर पेट्रोलिंग करेंगे व एक टोल फ्री नंबर जारी करने को कहा इस टोल फ्री नंबर पर अवैध कटान की सूचना मिलते ही त्वरित कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

जब निचलौल रेंज में हो रहे बड़े पैमाने पर अवैध कटान और रेंजर निचलौल की संलिप्तता को उजागर करने वाले वाकिया पर पत्रकारों ने यह सवाल किया कि क्या किसी केस में पाबंद वाहन से वन विभाग जंगल से लकड़ीयो का अभिवहन कर सकता है के सवाल पर असहज हुए वन मंत्री ने मुख्य वन संरक्षक भीमसेन को ज़बाब देने को कहा।
मुख्य वन संरक्षक भीमसेन ने बताया कि जब्तशुदा वाहन यदी नियम युक्त अधिहरण की प्रक्रिया पुर्ण कर लिया है तो उसका उपयोग वन विभाग कर सकता है
जबकि जबतक अधिहरण के लिए कोर्ट से अनुमति नहीं प्राप्त हो आधिहरण की कार्यवाही नहीं की जा सकती है।
दिनांक 19-07-2022 को वन सुरक्षा टीम द्वारा खड्डा के पकड़ी से बरामद लगभग 400 बंडल बेंत लदी टैक्टर ट्राली UP57-AX2822 को बरामद कर सुसंगत धारा में केस पंजीकृत कर उक्त टैक्टर ट्राली को जब्त किया था
उक्त टैक्टर ट्राली को बीना आधिहरण की प्रक्रिया पुर्ण हुए रेंजर निचलौल द्वारा वन क्षेत्र से अवैध लकड़ी कटवा कर उक्त टैक्टर ट्राली से अभिवहन कार्य किया जा रहा है
