आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत सांस्कृतिक प्रतिभा खोज आयोजन जिला पंचायत रिसोर्स सेंटर रविंद्र नगर धूस में किया गया। उक्त कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता अपर जिलाधिकारी देवी दयाल वर्मा ने की। कार्यक्रम में जनपद के अलग अलग क्षेत्रों से आए विभिन्न विधाओं के कलाकारों ने अपनी मनमोहक प्रस्तुति दी। ये कलाकार सांस्कृतिक विधाओं यथा लोक गायन, लोक नृत्य, लोकनाट्य, भजन कीर्तन, रामलीला आदि के निपुण कलाकार थे जिन्होंने अपनी कला
कि सांस्कृतिक प्रतिभा खोज आयोजन दूर-दूर की फैली प्रतिभाओं का एक मंच है जो उनकी प्रतिभाओं से रूबरू होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मंच का उद्देश्य है कि जिले की प्रतिभाएं उजागर हो, उन्हें पहचान मिले, सांस्कृतिक विरासत का प्रचार प्रसार हो, प्रदेश स्तर पर इन कलाकारों का नाम हो। उन्होंने आगे भी भविष्य 
में कलाकारों को इस प्रकार के मंच दिए जाने हेतु आश्वस्त किया। इस अवसर पर जिला सूचना अधिकारी कृष्ण कुमार ने आए हुए सभी कलाकारों व समिति के सदस्य गणों का तथा कार्यक्रम में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाले कार्मिकों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया । 
इस मौके पर निर्णायक मंडली के सदस्यों में अध्यक्ष के रूप में अपर जिलाधिकारी, सदस्य सचिव जिला सूचना अधिकारी, सदस्य डॉक्टर ममता मणि त्रिपाठी प्राचार्य उदित नारायण डिग्री कॉलेज, मतवाला मिश्रा (विशेषज्ञ लोक संगीत), शंभू नाथ मिश्रा विशेषज्ञ लोक संगीत बनारस घराना आदि उपस्थित थे।
