जनपद महराजगंज में चीनी, यूरिया, कपड़ा आदि की तस्करी आम बात हो गई है सरहदी क्षेत्रो के कस्बों में चीनी और यूरिया के थोक व्यापारी अधिक से अधिक मात्रा में चीनी और यूरिया खाद मंगाकर विना स्टाक रजिस्टर में सही विक्रय किए गोल मोल कर तस्करों के हाथ बेच रहे हैं और जिम्मेदार कभी भी इनके स्टाकिस्टों का स्टाक का मिलान कराने की जहमत नहीं उठा रही है।
तस्करों द्वारा नित नए नए तरीके अपना कर तस्करी को अंजाम दिया जा रहा है।
