डाक टाइम्स न्यूज समाचारपत्र कप्तानगंज स्थित जेपी इण्टर कालेज के छात्र नवनीत पाण्डेय ने प्रतिष्ठित आई आई टी की प्रवेश परीक्षा में सफ़लता प्राप्त कर अपना तथा अपने गुरूजनों का मान बढ़ाया है। नवनीत के पिता प्रेम नारायण पाण्डेय पेशे से संगीत के शिक्षक हैं और जेपी इण्टर कालेज कप्तानगंज में ही संगीत की शिक्षा दे रहें हैं। नवनीत पाण्डेय की माँ रम्भा देवी बेटे की प्रवेश परीक्षा में प्राप्त सफ़लता के बाद गर्व करते हुए कहतीं हैं कि नवनीत शुरू से ही परिश्रमी रहा है इण्टरमीडिएट की 
परीक्षा में नवनीत जनपद कुशीनगर में तीसरे स्थान पर रहे, नवनीत पाण्डेय ने कक्षा एक से इण्टर तक की पढाई जेपी इण्टरमीडिएट कालेज कप्तानगंज से की है। इस सफ़लता पर विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य श्रीराम प्रसाद ने कहा कि परिश्रम और लगन से ही विद्यार्थी अपने हर लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सकता है। रामकोला विधानसभा के विधायक विनय प्रकाश गोंड ने भी नवनीत पाण्डेय को शुभकामनायें प्रेषित की हैं।नवनीत पाण्डेय को इस बेमिसाल उपलब्धि के लिए प्रधानाचार्य श्रीराम प्रसाद और शिक्षकों द्वारा प्रार्थना सभा के अवसर पर सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थी भी उपस्थित थे। एडवोकेट जयराज सिंह,विश्वंभर प्रसाद,सगीर अहमद,चन्दन कुमार गोंड,केएन शर्मा,रामदरश शर्मा,रणजीत सिंह,ईश्वरचंद,विनोद यादव,अखिलेश सिंह,रन्तिदेव सिंह,विनोद यादव,पीएन गुप्ता,विन्देश्वरी मल्ल,राधेश्याम इत्यादि शुभचिंतकों ने बधाई प्रेषित है।
