डाक टाइम्स न्यूज समाचारपत्र रामलोला थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम पपउर के मेहंदीगंज टोला में रात्रि में अपराधियों ने धारधार हथियार से एक अनुसूचित जाति महिला की हत्या कर दी सूचना पाते ही पुलिस कप्तान धवल जायसवाल मौके पर आकर छानबीन करना शुरू कर दिए और कुछ समय बाद डॉग स्क्वायड फॉरेंसिक टीम अपनी जांच शुरू कर दी और सूचना मिलते ही प्रभारी निरीक्षक नीरज कुमार राय मौके पर पहुंच गए बहुत ही बारीकी से पूरी जानकारी हासिल की है 
स्थानीय थाना क्षेत्र के मेहंदीगंज टोला निवासी 30 वर्षीय पूजा देवी पत्नी स्वर्गीय राजेश अपने दो मासूम बच्चों शिवम उम्र 5 वर्ष और सुंदरम उम्र 3 वर्ष घर पर रहती थी तथा पूजा अपनी बहन को भी साथ रखी थी पूजा की बहन मंगलवार को दोनों बच्चों को साथ लेकर स्थानीय थाना क्षेत्र के कुस्महा गांव के टोला चकिया पाण्डेय टोला में अपने घर चली गई पूजा रात में घर पर अकेली थी हत्यारों की हत्या करने का मौका मिल गया रात में ही पूजा की धाराधार हथियार से सिर पर प्रहार करके उसकी हत्या कर दी आज दिनांक 28 सितम्बर 2022 दिन बुधवार सुबह के समय गांव की लड़की उसके घर पर गए तो देखी थी पूजा मुक्त अवस्था में बिस्तर पर पड़ी है वह लड़की चिल्लाते हुए अंदर से बाहर दौड़ती हुई गांव वालों को बताएं खोजबीन करने आए डाग स्क्वायड मेहंदी गंज में ही घूमते हुए एक व्यक्ति के घर में पहुंच गया पुलिस उस व्यक्ति को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है इसके पहले भी तीन संदिग्ध व्यक्तियों को पुलिस हिरासत में लेकर अपनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक रितेश कुमार सिंह भी घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे थे।
