तिवारीपुर थाना क्षेत्र के माधोपुर की रहने वाली सीमा सिंह के पति जबलपुर में रेलवे में कार्यरत हैं।सीमा सिंह आज जबलपुर से गोरखपुर आई और शाम 6:00 बजे गोरखनाथ मंदिर दर्शन करने के लिए जा रही थी तभी उनका पर्स रामलीला मैदान के पास गिर गया।स्थानीय लोगों ने पर्स की सूचना सूर्य विहार चौकी इंचार्ज को दिया।चौकी इंचार्ज विकास कुमार सिंह ने पर्स में रखे मतदाता पहचान पत्र के आधार पर महिला के पते पर सिपाही को भेजकर इसकी सूचना दी। महिला को चौकी पर बुलवाया।महिला के चौकी पर आने के बाद पर्स में रखे हुए सामान के बारे में पूछताछ की और तफ्तीश में पर्स के बारे में सही जानकारी बताने पर महिला को उनका पर्स उनके सुपुर्द कर दिया।पर्स में मोबाइल फोन, जेवरात, नगदी और मतदाता पहचान पत्र था।पर्स पाने के बाद सीमा सिंह के चेहरे पर खुशी की लहर आ गई और उन्होंने कहा “थैंक्यू यूपी पुलिस”।
