गोरखपुर फैजाबाद खंड शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लिए मंगलवार को होने वाले मतदान सुबह 8:00 बजे से शुरू हो गए हैं।

रफी अहमद किदवई इंटर कॉलेज में अपने एमएलसी प्रत्याशी को चुनने के लिए लोगों में काफी उत्साह देखने को मिला इसमें लोगों ने बढ़ चढ़कर भाग ले रहे हैं।

गोरखपुर-फैजाबाद शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के चुनाव की तैयारी पूरी कर ली गई हैं, आज सुबह आठ से शाम पांच बजे तक मतदान किया जा सकेगा, इसके लिए गोरखपुर समेत 17 जिलों में 198 मतदान केंद्र बनाए गए हैं, इस बार चुनाव मैदान में राजनीतिक दल व शिक्षक संघों के 16 प्रत्याशी हैं, इन सभी के भाग्य का फैसला 40 हजार 164 मतदाता करेंगे, सबसे ज्यादा 6170 मतदाता गोरखपुर में हैं, आजमगढ़ में 5184 मतदाता हैं, मतदान के समय वीडियोग्राफी कराई जा रही है, वेबकास्टिंग भी होगी, और सभी बूथों पर सीसीटीवी कैमरे से लैस है।
