खड्डा/कुशीनगर: ठण्ड के मौसम में पड़ रहे कड़ाके की ठंडी को तथा ठंडी में बाहर से आये यात्रियों के ठहराव की व्यवस्था को देखते हुए एसडीएम खड्डा अरविंद कुमार व तहसीलदार एस के राय ने शुक्रवार को नगर पंचायत में महाराणा प्रताप चौराहे पर यात्री विश्राम स्थल पर बनाए गए रैन बसेरा का औचक निरीक्षण किया। उहोंने रैन बसेरा में ठहराव के दौरान यात्रियों को दी जाने वाली सेवाओं की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने रैन बसेरा के रात्रि ठहराव में आम आदमी एवं यात्रियों को मुहैया करवाए जाने वाली सुविधाओं का जायजा लिया। इस मौके पर उन्होंने रैन बसेरा के नप कर्मचारियों को निर्देश दिए कि लोगों को रात्रि के वक्त बढि़या किस्म के गर्म बिस्तर, विशेषकर सर्दियों में गर्म पानी की सुविधा तथा बसेरा में बिजली जैसी तमाम व्यवस्थाएं होनी चाहिए। बसेरा की साफ सफाई तथा शौचालयों को सही हालात में रखा जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि शहर के प्रमुख स्थान पर रैन बसेरा के फ्लैक्स बोर्ड लगवाएं। नगर पंचायत के अधिकारियों को यह भी निर्देश दिए है कि वे रैन बसेरों में सभी सुविधाएं पुख्ता रखें और जरूरतमंदों को इन बसेरों में ठहराया जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि रात्रि के दौरान अगर कोई नागरिक बाहर मिलता है और उसके पास रहने का स्थान नहीं है तो रैन बसेरे में ठहरा सकते है। उन्होंने अधिशासी अधिकारी नगर पंचायत को नगर के प्रत्येक वार्ड में अलाव जलाने के लिए भी निर्देशित किया।
