कुशीनगर जिले के डाक्टर जितेन्द्र कुमार मिश्रा को धनवन्तरी सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया। सांसद विजय दूबे व विधायक रजनीकांत मणि त्रिपाठी ने उन्हें प्रशस्ति पत्र व मेडल देकर सम्मानित किया।
डाक्टर जितेन्द्र कुमार मिश्रा ने आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा जगत के लिए बहुत ही उत्कृष्ट योगदान दिया है। कुशीनगर में पहली बार आयुर्वेदिक टिकाकरण प्रणाली को प्रारम्भ किया जो स्वर्णप्राशन संस्कार के रूप में बच्चो को पिलाया जाता है। जिससे तमाम रोगो से बचाव तथा बच्चो का विकास होता है। आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा में पहले से हजारो रोगियों को पेट सम्बंधी, गुर्दा सम्बंधी, मानसिक रोगी, श्वाश रोगी तथा विशेषत: हृदय रोगियों को बहुत ही लाभान्वित किया है।
इसके लिये कुशीनगर मे स्वामी विवेकानंद युवा महोत्सव में डाक्टर जितेन्द्र कुमार मिश्रा को सम्मानित किया गया।
