गोरखपुर/सड़क पर वाहन चलाने के दौरान यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरुक करने व सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष जनवरी माह में सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह मनाया जाता है लेकिन इस वर्ष यातायात सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह सप्ताह भर मनाए जाने के बदले एक माह तक मनाया जाएगा।
यातायात सड़क सुरक्षा माह के प्रथम दिवस के अवसर पर पहले हप्ते जागरूक किया जाये उसके यातायात नियमों का पालन कराया जाए। डीएम के विजयेंद्र पांडियन ने कहा कि यातायात सड़क सुरक्षा माह के दौरान पहले हफ्ता स्कूल व कॉलेजों मैं जाकर छात्र छात्राओं को ट्रैफिक नियमों का जानकारी देते हुए जागरूक किया जाएगा व उन्होंने बताया कि पार्किंग की व्यवस्था को दुरुस्त करने के लिए सड़क पर पट्टी लगाई है लोग इस पट्टी के अंदर ही वाहन रखे इस पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
डीआईजी/ एसएसपी जोगिंदर कुमार ने बताया कि लोग यातायात नियमों के प्रति गंभीर हो सके इसके लिए सुरक्षा सप्ताह एक माह के लिए मनाया जा रहा है। इस दौरान जहां चौक-चौराहों पर चैकिंग पाइंट लगाकर वाहनों के चालकों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने तय सीमा पर वाहन चलाने संपूर्ण दस्तावेज वैध रखने समेत अन्य नियमों की जानकारी दी जाएगी। वहीं स्कूल कॉलेजों में कार्यशाला समेत अन्य प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन कर यातायात के प्रति जागरुक करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। यातायात सड़क सुरक्षा माह के शुभारंभ के दौरान जिलाधिकारी के विजयेंद्र पांडियन डीआईजी एसएसपी जोगिंदर कुमार आरटीओ अनीता सिंह के ऑडियो प्रशासन श्यामलाल एआरटीओ प्रवर्तन ए के सिंह पुलिस अधीक्षक ट्रैफिक आशुतोष शुक्ला बीएसए वीएन सिंह डीआईओएस ज्ञानेंद्र प्रताप सिंह भदौरिया टी आई व अन्य संबंधित रहे मौजूद।
