गोरखपुर के रामगढ़ ताल में नौकायान के दौरान जीडीए द्वारा संचालित एक नाव आज उस समय पलट गई जब नाव में सवार होकर लोग नौकायान जेटी से बस निकले ही थे। गनीमत यह थी कि जहां पर यह नाव पलटी वहां पर पानी अधिक नहीं था और तत्काल दूसरे नाविकों ने पानी में गिरे लोगों को बचा लिया। पिछले कुछ महीनों से जीडीए के द्वारा रामगढ़ ताल में नौकायन का कार्यक्रम किया जा रहा है जिसमें यहां पर घूमने वाले लोगों को गांव में बैठाकर रामगढ़ ताल को घुमाया जाता है। बताया जा रहा है कि जीडीए ने जो वोट यहां पर नौकायन के लिए दिए हैं उस वोट में मानक से अधिक सवारी को बैठाकर नाविक ताल में ले जा रहा था तभी डिसबैलेंस हो जाने की वजह से यह नाव पलट गई।
