गोरखपुर/ राजघाट थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत तुर्कमानपुर में महिला द्वारा खाने के चावल में जहर मिलाने की सूचना पर पुलिस तत्काल दौड़ पड़ी। जांच में जहर मिलाने की पुष्टि नहीं हुई। पुलिस का मानना है कि झाड़-फूंक के चक्कर में कुछ पाउडर मिलाए जाने की आशंका है। जिसे घर की एक बच्ची ने देखा और किसी ने चावल नहीं खाया तथा परिजनों ने पुलिस को सूचना दे दी। फिलहाल मामले में कोई तहरीर किसी ने नहीं दी है पुलिस जांच कर रही हैं।
मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक तुर्कमानपुर निवासी एक महिला शुक्रवार की रात खाना बना रही थी। तभी घर की एक बच्ची ने उसे चावल में कुछ पाउडर जैसा है मिलाते देखा। बच्ची ने अन्य घर वालों को यह बात बताई। घर वालों ने बिना चावल खाए डायल 112 पर जहर मिलाने की सूचना दे दी। जिसके बाद पीआरवी व पांडेयहाता पुलिस चौकी भी पहुंच गई। पुलिस की जांच में जहर मिलाने की पुष्टि नहीं हो पाई। पुलिस का कहना है कि महिला पति को वश में करने के लिए झाड़फूंक कराती है।
आशंका है कि उसी से संबंधित कोई पाउडर उसने चावल में डाला है। लेकिन किसी ने खाया नहीं। इस संबंध में पांडेय हाता पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी अरुण कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि जहर मिलाने की पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। न ही घर के किसी सदस्य ने भोजन किया। झाड़-फूंक का मामला प्रतीत हो रहा है जांच की जा रही है।
