चौरीचौरा शताब्दी समारोह के क्रम में आज सोमवार को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर पूर्वांचल जर्नलिस्ट प्रेस क्लब उत्तर प्रदेश द्वारा शहीद स्मारक के ऑडिटोरियम हाल में स्वावलम्बी महिला सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बतौर अतिथि पहुंची नायब तहसीलदार अलका सिंह व नगर पंचायत चेयरमैन सुनीता गुप्ता ने अपने कर्म और हौसले के बलबूते स्वावलम्बन के क्षेत्र में नई इबारत लिख रही महिलाओं को प्रशस्ति पत्र और स्मृति चिन्ह देकर 40 महिलाओं को सम्मानित किया।


सम्मान पाकर स्वावलम्बी महिलाओं ने पूर्वांचल जर्नलिस्ट के इस आयोजन की सराहना की। उनका कहना था कि यह पहली बार ऐसा आयोजन है जिसमे पत्रकार संगठन द्वारा महिलाओं को सम्मान दिया गया है। कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए नायब तहसीलदार अलका सिंह ने कहा कि यह एक शानदार आयोजन है जो महिलाओं के सशक्त बनाने के लिए प्रेरणादायी साबित होगा। उन्होंने कर्म योद्धा महिलाओं को महिला दिवस की बधाई दी।

चेयरमैन सुनीता गुप्ता ने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजनों से महिलाओं का हौसला बढ़ेगा और आगे और बेहतर करने की प्रेरणा मिलेगी। ऐसे आयोजन के लिए उन्होंने प्रेस क्लब के धन्यबाद करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे काम आगे भी किये जाने चाहिए। पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी दिनेश कुमार सिंह ने कहा कि विगत कई महीने से इस प्रेस क्लब द्वारा बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ और मिशन शक्ति को लेकर अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। आज विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अपना नाम रौशन करने वाली महिलाओं को सम्मानित करके इस प्रेस क्लब ने महिलाओं के मनोबल को और बढ़ाने का काम किया है। बीडीओ ब्रम्हपुर राजकुमार ने कहा कि महिला शक्ति को पहचानने की जरूरत है। इस तरह का सम्मान पाकर उनके अंदर और बेहतर करने की ऊर्जा का संचार होगा। इस अवसर पर प्रेस क्लब के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष राज अनन्त पाण्डेय ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए प्रेस क्लब की उपलब्धियों को बताया और कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रम को हमारा संगठन करता रहेगा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन करते हुए प्रदेश महामंत्री दिलशाद आलम ने सम्मानित होने वाली सभी महिलाओं की उपलब्धियों को बताया। इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में वर्टेक्स ग्लोबल स्कूल सरदारनगर का सराहनीय योगदान रहा। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत माँ सरस्वती के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण और दीप प्रज्जवलन से हुआ। प्रेस क्लब के पदाधिकारियों ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी अतिथियों को माल्यार्पण कर और स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर उनका स्वागत किया। इस अवसर पर पूर्व चेयरमैन ज्योति प्रकाश गुप्ता, पंडित रामनरायन त्रिपाठी और प्रेस क्लब के विनोद सिंह, ओमप्रकाश गुप्ता, प्रमोद जायसवाल, लालजी विश्वकर्मा, आशुतोष पाण्डेय, अनिल वर्मा, अवनीश मणि त्रिपाठी, डॉक्टर सतीश यादव, राजेश जायसवाल, शशि जायसवाल, रामानन्द पाण्डेय, धनन्जय पाण्डेय, कृष्णा गुप्ता, अजीत सिंह, विनय गुप्ता, रंजीत जायसवाल, विश्वनाथ यादव, धीरज शुक्ला सहित प्रेस क्लब के पदाधिकारी और सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।
