जिले में लगातार बढ़ते कोरोना मामलों को देखते हुए पूर्व केन्द्रीय गृह राज्यमंत्री कुँवर आरपीएन सिंह द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए 4 ऑक्सिजन कंसन्ट्रेटर मशीन को कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष राजकुमार सिंह ने जिला चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ0 नरेंद्र प्रताप गुप्ता को सौपा जिसे जिला चिकित्सा अधिकारी ने तत्काल संयुक्त जिला चिकित्सालय पड़रौना में भेज दिया। जिला चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ0 गुप्ता से दुरभाष के माध्यम से बात करते हुए आरपीएन सिंह ने आश्वासन दिया कि इस कोरोना महामारी के दौरान अस्पतालों में ऑक्सीजन की कोई कमी न हो इसके लिए हर सम्भव प्रयास किया जाएगा लॉकडाउन में ट्रांसपोर्ट सेवा बाधित होने की वजह से अभी केवल 4 ही ऑक्सिजन कंसन्ट्रेटर मशीन उपलब्ध कराया जा सका है। आगे भी ऑक्सिजन कंसन्ट्रेटर मशीन उपलब्ध कराने का ये सिलसिला जारी रहेगा। साथ ही उन्होंने जिला चिकित्सा अधिकारी से यह भी कहा कि अब कोरोना महामारी गांवों में तेजी से अपने पैर पसार रही है जिसे देखते हुए गांवों में जांच का दायरा बढ़ाया जाए और उचित चिकित्सा सलाह व दवा उपलब्ध कराया जाए जिससे आम जन की सुरक्षा हो सके इस मौके पर RTI कांग्रेस के प्रदेश सचिव आदित्य तिवारी,सिद्धार्थ चौरसिया व अन्य स्वास्थ्य कर्मी मौजूद रहे।
