जिला ग्रामोद्योग अधिकारी ए0के0पाल ने बताया कि माटीकला के कामगारो/शिल्पकारों के कला को बढावा देनें व उनके जीवन स्तर को ऊंचा उठाने के उद्वेश्य से उ0प्र0 सरकार द्वारा माटी कला बोर्ड का गठन किया जा चुका है। उ0 प्र0 सरकार द्वारा दूषित हो रहे पर्यावरण को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए प्लास्टिक से निर्मित कप, प्लेट, गिलास, थाली व अन्य सामग्री पर प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया गया है। सरकार के मंशा के अनुसार मिट्टी के बने उत्पादों को अपने जीवन में अधिक से अधिक प्रयोग करने के उद्देश्य से जिन माटीकला के कामगारों/शिल्पकारों द्वारा मिट्टी के विभिन्न प्रकार के बर्तनो, खिलौनों, मूर्तियों आदि निर्माण कर जिविकोपार्जन कर रहे है ऐसे कुम्हारों को निःशुल्क विद्युत चालित चाक मशीन उपलव्ध कराया जा रहा है। इस हेतु ऐसे कामगार/शिल्पकार जिनकी उम्र 18 से 55 वर्ष के बीच है को उक्त विद्युत चालित चाक निःशुल्क उपलव्ध कराया जाएगा। इस हेतु इच्छुक (प्रत्येक परिवार से एक ही व्यक्ति द्वारा फार्म भरा जाएगा) कामगार/शिल्पकार दिनांक 25 जून 2021 तक जिला ग्रामोद्योग कार्यालय नरकटिया बुजुर्ग सपहां रोड कसयां कुशीनगर (नवल एकेडमी के सामने) से सम्पर्क कर आवेदन पत्र प्राप्त कर उसे पूर्ण करते हुए फोटो, आधार, जाति, निवास, शैक्षिक योग्यता का प्रमाण-पत्र, राशन कार्ड, व बैकं पासबुक की छाया प्रति के साथ दिनांक 25 जून 2021 तक उक्त कार्यालय में जमा कर सकते है । ऐसे कामगार जिसे पूर्व में खादी ग्रामोद्योग आयोग, जिला उद्योग केन्द्र, खादी एवं ग्रामोद्योग या अन्य किसी संस्था से निःशुल्क विद्युत चालित चाक प्राप्त कर चुके है ऐसे परिवार का कोई भी लाभार्थी योजना का पात्र नही होगा।
