उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य पर्यटन विकास निगम ने कॉंप्लेक्स संचालन के लिए जारी किया टेंडर। 90 फीसदी काम हुआ पूरा।

डाक टाइम्स गोरखपुर/ शहरवासियों को जल्द ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के जल क्रीड़ा (वाटर स्पोर्ट्स) कॉम्प्लेक्स की सौगात मिलने वाली है। रामगढ़ ताल में विकसित किए जा रहे वाटर स्पोर्ट्स का 90 प्रतिशत से अधिक निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण हो चुका है। राज्य पर्यटन निगम ने इसके संचालन, देखभाल और प्रबंधन के लिए निजी कंपनियों को आमंत्रित किया है। विशेषज्ञ और अधिकारियों का पैनल कंपनी का चुनाव करेगा, इसके बाद मुख्यमंत्री वाटर स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स का उद्धाटन करेंगे।
पूर्वांचल के बड़े तालाबों में से एक रामगढ़ ताल में पर्यटन और एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स का केंद्र बनाने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने 2018 में यहां वाटर स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स निर्माण की घोषणा की थी। करीब पैंतालीस करोड़ का यह प्रोजेक्ट कोरोना महमारी, लॉकडाउन के कारण समय पर पूरा नहीं हो सका।
अब कोरोना की दूसरी लहर का असर कम होने पर प्रोजेक्ट पर फिर तेजी से काम शुरू हो गया है। इधर निर्माण कार्य जारी है, उधर कॉम्प्लेक्स के संचालन, प्रबंधन और देखभाल के लिए कंपनियों के चयन की प्रक्रिया भी शुरू हो चुकी है। पयर्टन निगम के अधिकारियों के अनुसार मुख्यमंत्री का यह ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट अगस्त तक लोकार्पण के लिए तैयार होगा।

उप्र राज्य पर्यटन निगम के प्रबंधक ऑपरेशन अक्षय नागर बताते हैं कि वाटर स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की जल क्रीड़ा प्रतियोगिता आयोजन के अनुरूप विकसित किया जा रहा है। यहां केवल जल क्रीड़ा प्रतियोगिताएं ही नहीं होंगी बल्कि खिलाड़ियों को ट्रेनिंग भी दी जाएगी। इससे स्थानीय स्तर के खिलाड़ियों को प्रतिभा तराशने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के खिलाड़ियों के साथ अभ्यास करने का भी मौका मिलेगा।
