डाक टाइम्स कुशीनगर। कानून व्यवस्था को चुस्त दुरुस्त बनाये रखने एवं बीट व्यवस्था को मजबूत व प्रभावशाली बनाने में बीट पुलिस अधिकारी की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है जिसके दृष्टिगत श्रीमान् अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक, गोरखपुर जोन एवं श्रीमान् पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक गोरखपुर परिक्षेत्र के निर्देश के क्रम में पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सचिन्द्र पटेल, जनपद कुशीनगर द्वारा जनपद के सभी थाना प्रभारी/थानाध्यक्षों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि वे अपने-अपने थाना क्षेत्रों को बीट प्रणाली के अन्तर्गत विभाजित कर बीट व्यवस्था को सुदृढ बनायें। जिसके क्रम में समस्त थाना प्रभारी/थानाध्यक्षों द्वारा अपने-अपने थाना क्षेत्रों को कुल 738 बीटों में विभाजित कर उनमें कुल 830 बीट पुलिस अधिकारी (BPO) के रुप में मुख्य आरक्षी/आरक्षी को नियुक्त किया गया है जिनके द्वारा निम्नलिखित कार्य किये जाने के निर्देश दिये गये हैं।

जनशिकायती प्रार्थना पत्रों के जांच/सत्यापन सम्बंधित कार्य।

107/116 सीआरपीसी के निरोधात्मक कार्यवाही सम्बंधित कार्य।

चरित्र सत्यापन से सम्बंधित कार्य।

हिस्ट्रीशीटरों की चेकिंग, एचएस, टाप-10, एक्टिव लिस्ट व विगत 03 वर्षों में जेल से छूटे अपराधियों आदि की निगरानी रखने से सम्बंधित कार्य हेतु बीट पुलिस अधिकारी को निर्देशित किया गया है।

साथ ही साथ सभी बीट पुलिस अधिकारियों को अपने बीट क्षेत्र में मौजूद रहकर वहां के सम्भ्रांत लोगों से सम्पर्क में रहने तथा उनका एक व्हाट्एप ग्रुप बनाये जाने एवं c-plan एप का समुचित उपयोग करने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है।

थानों एवं चौकियों के साथ-साथ गाँव के पंचायत भवनों पर भी बीट पुलिस अधिकारियों के नाम व मो0नं0 अंकित कराये जाने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है।

महिला सशक्तिकरण के दृष्टिगत सभी थाना प्रभारी/थानाध्यक्षों को महिला आरक्षियों को भी बीट क्षेत्र आवंटित करने तथा उन्हे बीट क्षेत्रों में जाने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया है जिससे महिला फरियादियों को अपनी समस्या महिला आरक्षियों को निःसंकोच बताने में सहायता मिल सके और उन्हे थाने जाने की भी आवश्यकता न हो।
इसके अतिरिक्त समस्त थानों पर महिला हेल्प डेस्क की स्थापना की गयी है जो 24 घण्टे क्रियाशील रहती है। जहां महिला फरियादियों के शिकायती प्रार्थना पत्रों पर त्वरित कार्यवाही हेतु निर्देश दिये गये हैं।
